We were so thrilled for our trip to the Magic Kingdom. We had planned everything perfectly and couldn't wait to immerse ourselves in all the attractions. But, as they say, the best laid plans of mice and men often go haywire. On our second day, misfortune struck. My son woke up feeling under the weather. A few hours later, I was right there with him! We soon realized we had fallen victim to the dreaded stomach bug.
It was a complete switch from our picture-perfect vacation. Instead of dancing, we were spending our days stuck in our hotel room, gurgling. Our dream trip had turned into a stomach flu saga.
We spent the rest of our holiday restless, regretting all the experiences we had missed.
